Banksy got it right.
Letting go is like releasing a balloon - it takes a moment of courage to let it go and watch it ascend into the sky, free and unbound.
Just like in this world-famous graffiti that has been stuck on my MacBook for years, you recognize that true strength lies in letting go of something you cannot change.
That can be painful, but it is also an important element in one's development. Release yourself from the burdens of the past; it's time to move forward.
I struggled with it a lot - especially when it came to letting go of my team, which meant a lot to me in my old job.
But do you know what? That was precisely correct, just as it should have been.
Above all, afterward, you could see who was genuine and didn't just keep up with you because you were the boss. Or colleagues who had forgotten your phone number on the day you left.
Letting go can be painful, but it also has many advantages:
- Letting go gives us the freedom to rise higher and reach our true potential. Like the balloon, we leave our burdens behind and rise to new heights.
- New perspectives - From below, the world looks very different. Letting go allows us to view our lives from a new perspective, one that is full of possibilities and beauty.
- Inner peace - Like the gentle flight of the balloon into the sky, letting go brings us inner peace. It is a silent moment of acceptance, a gentle acknowledgment that it is time to move on.
"The most beautiful things in life are not the ones we hold onto, but the ones we let breathe and fly freely."
And the relationships that were important and genuine come back to you anyway - in a relationship as well as in a job.
To all those who need the courage to let go:
Dare. You are worth it and not alone.
This picture is for you - a symbol of hope, freedom, and the immeasurable sky that lies ahead of you.
Throw off all that holds you back, rise, and see what awaits you and has long been ahead of you.
